The Swiss brand Flyer e-bikes visits the Pietra Ligure area.
The prestigious Swiss brand that invented the e-bike, back in 1993, chose the Pietra Ligure area, which on 7 April will host the first leg of the Superenduro EWS Qualifier, to shoot the video presenting the new 2020 range of pedal assisted bicycles.
This is a further confirmation of the important strategic positioning that the Pietra Ligure’s territory and Val Maremola area has acquired in the world of mtb thanks to the great work carried out in recent years by the municipal administration of Pietra Ligure, together with the productive realities and sports associations of the sector.
For the occasion, the staff was hosted by the Agriturismo Rose di Pietra, where part of the video was filmed.
Then, under the wise guidance of Matteo “Bubba” Carrubba, owner of the new Hot Bikes store in Via Nazario Sauro in Pietra Ligure, the troupe moved on the trails of the area, where the Italian Enduro MTB Champion and brand importer for Italy, Andrea Bruno, was an exceptional rider and protagonist of the shooting.
The video, shot by the internationally renowned videomaker Tom Malecha, was directed by Flyer’s Marketing Manager Thomas Knecht, who expressed great enthusiasm for the Ligurian town and expressed his willingness to return to these paths to shoot other videos and organize related promotional activities to the brand starting from targeted offers for tour operators, who will find a support point in the Hot Bikes shop.
And the very opening at Pietra Ligure of the first store entirely dedicated to mtb represents a further important and essential step forward for the development of the bike project to which the entire country is working enthusiastically.
The considerable increase in bikers on the Pietra Ligure and Val Maremola trails and the presence of many raiders in the historical center in the last period, are certainly proof of the potential of this sector for the development of tourism in the area.
